تحليل الفجوة بين المهارات الادارية المطلوبة وممارسات التوظيف المتبعة في المؤسسات الفلسطينية الكبرى
The purpose of this research is to compare the managerial skills and competencies required by managers with staffing techniques that are practiced at Palestinian large scale organizations . the research population comprised all Palestinian organization employing more than one hundred employees . a census survey was used to cover 56 organization in which the response rate was 62.5% out of the whole population . the results revealed that despite the fact that managers required a comprehensive list of skills to cover conceptual , leadership , creative and other skills , those skills were tested through traditional means which are confined to interviews , application forms , and curriculum vitae . As a results , a gap arises between required skills and ways of evaluating those skills . the researcher recommended to train managers in using different tests and to acquaint them with different recruitment techniques . in this context business schools in cooperation with businessmen forums should play a pivotal role through conducting a series of lectures and workshops for organizational managers .
