Abstract


This study addresses aesthetically the “space” in Mohammed Nassar’s novel “Souk Al-Deir”. The study deals with the spatial phenomenon that was heavily present in the novel and provides a definition of the concept of “space”. It examines the imagery associated with “space” in the novel showing the various connotations of “space” and explaining its role in the novel’s artistic structure and the narrative techniques and their role in illuminating the aesthetics of “space” in the novel.
