Abstract


The study aims to investigate the relationship between the human resource management practices like planning, selection, recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, employees welfare, and compensation, through the following axes: students’ satisfaction, employees’ satisfaction, student learning outcomes, financial performance, efficiency of institution. In the environment of institutions of higher education in the West Bank, the population of the study consists of 34 institutions. The researcher used a questionnaire to collect the required data from the senior management based on their experience and expertise in the institution components and their capabilities that Enable them to answer the survey’s questions. The questionnaire consisted of a group of items that cover the dimensions of human resource management, and institution performance. A total of 42 questionnaires were collected from 27 institutions, that formulated a response rate of 68%, which is accepted statistically. The results showed high practices of human resources management dimensions, high level of institutions performance, and that there is a positive relationship between the practice of human resources and the level of performance within the axes covered by the study. The results also indicated that there was no statistically significant differences between the practices of the dimensions of human resource management and performance related to classification of the institutions.
