Abstract

This paper explores the exegesis (Takhrij) of marginal to maximal issues and its impact on the development of jurisprudential talent , (Zenjani’s book as a model). It also addresses the definition of jurisprudential talent, pillars, the underlying foundations and forming legal ruling. Furthermore, this paper addresses the definition of exegesis (Takhrij) of marginal to maximal issues, related books, Zenjani’s book of exegesis of marginal to maximal issues, as well as its impact on the development of jurisprudential talent. The paper comes up with a range of results the most important of which are that the jurisprudential talent is a very high mental ability for comprehending issues and rules through which the development of marginal legal rulings are achieved, the jurisprudential talent should be developed by Islamic sciences instructors and students as well as applied and theoretical aspects in teaching principles of jurisprudence (usul al-fiqh) should be integrated. This can only be achieved by studying books that have been authored on the way of exegesis (Takhrij) of marginal to maximal issues; e.g. the book of Zenjani. Therefore, teaching this method is highly recommended so that linking marginal to maximal issues is possible.
