The purpose of this study was to investigate perceptions of the General Diploma students at Al-Azhar University towards the democratic practices of faculty members. Moreover it aimed to show whether their perceptions vary according to gender, age, major, experience and the type of education. The study used a descriptive survey method based on a questionnaire consisting of (39) items, and making sure of the Psychometric characteristics of the tool, the study sample consisted of (710) of diploma students at Al Azhar university for the academic year 2012/2013. Study findings showed that perceptions of General Diploma students at Al Azhar University towards the democratic practices of faculty members were generally medium in all fields except the field of study course which was little. Also there were some significant differences at the level of (0, 05) in perceptions of general diploma students at Al Azhar University towards the democratic practices of faculty members. This was due to the variables of gender, age, major, experience, and the type of education.
