Abstract
This research is based on studying the psychological aspects of the prophets through the phenomenon of forgetting and its reflections on sayings, actions and behavior, and analyzing these aspects in order to indicate their effect and role in the infallibility of the Prophets.The Quran presented some situations in which the prophets forget something. It was indicated that the oblivion that occurred to some prophets, may Allah’s peace be upon them, was a legitimate kind for which human beings are not blamed. In addition, this oblivion did not lead to essential violations of the religious law. If a little mistake which is accepted from the prophets being human, had occurred, some divine guidance would have corrected and rectified it. Through studying this reaction in the prophets’ behavior, we perceive many educational aspects which form a guiding model to be emulated.
