Abstract
The aim of the study was to develop A Proposal for a Jordanian Virtual University in Light of the Overall Quality Standards from the Expert's Perspectives. To achieve the objectives of the study, the analytical descriptive approach were adopted and the comprehensive quality standards were developed for the Jordanian Virtual University consisting of (60) items. After verifying their validity and reliability, were applied on (100) members of the teaching staff in the field of educational technology, curricula, teaching methods and information and communication technology in the Jordanian public and private universities All the criteria that should be available at the virtual university were at high scores with an average of (4.02).In light of results, a proposal was put forward for a Jordanian virtual university in light with these standards. The study recommended that the virtual university should start supporting and endorsement the government at the highest level, especially the academic accreditation of this type of university and its funding.
