Abstract: the study aimed identifying the extent to which the academic staff at Jouf University applied distance learning strategies during Corona pandemic (COVID-19) through the Blackboard application. The study followed a descriptive method, a questionnaire was prepared by the researcher and administered to 40 faculty members of Jouf University. Study results showed that the faculty members’ recognition of the importance of distance learning came on top, while the teaching staff’s use of education strategies came on moderate . Concerning the difficulties facing faculty members in using distance education strategies, through the Blackboard, they came on a moderate degree. The results also showed that the degree of faculty members’ satisfaction with the use of distance learning at Jouf University came above the average. The study ended with a set of recommendations, the most important is that official interest should direct the academic staff to use distance learning strategies in the educational process .
