The research aimed to reveal the level of the educational role of the academic advisor in developing the life skills of his students from their point of view. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach and applied the questionnaire. The fields consisted of: scientific cognitive skills, practical skills, Social skills were distributed to a random sample of 425 students from Al-Jouf University, and the apparent and internal questionnaire was verified in addition to making sure of its high coefficient of stability, through the Pearson correlation coefficient and the Cronbach alpha coefficient of persistence The results have shown that the educational role of the academic advisor in the development of life skills is achieved in a medium degree for all three areas of knowledge, practical and social. Statistically according to the variables (college and academic level), while the responses recorded statistically significant differences according to the gender variable in favor of female students.
