Abstract

The research aimed to find out the degree of availability of quality standards in the Arabic language book for the third intermediate grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, using statistical methods (frequencies and ratios) to calculate the percentages of availability of quality standards in the Arabic language book for the third intermediate grade. On one standard of form and three standards of content. As for the study sample, it consisted of the Arabic language book (My Eternal Language) for the third intermediate grade, which was approved by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the first and second semesters of the academic year (1443 /2021). The results revealed the availability of quality standards in the Arabic language book for the third average with a frequency of (4664), where the evaluation criterion came first with a frequency of (2935) and a percentage of (63%), then the standards of the figure came second with a frequency of (1406) and a percentage It reached (30%), and thirdly, the content criterion came with a frequency of (176) and a percentage of (4%), and finally the goals criterion came with a frequency of (137) and a percentage of (3%). In light of the results of the study, the study recommended a number of recommendations, including Paying more attention to the objectives of the curriculum, especially the teaching objectives, because they are more detailed in the content and more understandable to students
