Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of strategic awareness among workers at Palestine Technical College from their point of view and the detection of whether there are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of estimation of the members of the sample to the level of their strategic awareness due to the variables (sex, educational qualification and nature of work), in order to present a proposed vision to improve the level of strategic awareness among the workers of the college, by using the descriptive analytical approach, and referring to previous literature review, a questionnaire was designed consisted of (40) items distributed on (4) axes: Current Strategic Awareness, Internal Strategic Awareness, External Strategic Awareness and Prospective Strategic Awareness and after verifying its validity and reliability, the questionnaire has been applied to a stratified random sample of (126) male and female workers.

The study found that the level of strategic awareness among college workers was "weak". The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members' estimate of the level of strategic awareness among the employees in the college due to the study variables. The study presented a proposed vision to improve the level of strategic awareness among the workers of the college, which included a philosophy, premises, objectives, components and implementation mechanisms. The proposed vision was presented to a group of arbitrators to control it and ensure its validity and consistency of its clauses and axes with the objectives of the study and its validity for application in the Palestinian environment
