Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the problems faced by teacher students in the field-training course in the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan from their point of view, and to identify the differences in these problems according to the variable (type of school). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher constructed a questionnaire consisting of (54) paragraphs divided into six fields (supervision of field- training, school administration, training system, potentials, academic preparation and the importance of field- training). The study sample consisted of (95) male and female students enrolled in the field- training course for the second semester 2016/2017. The results showed that the level of problems was moderate in all fields of study. There were also significant differences between the average problems attributed to the school variable for the field of school administration and the field of potentials in favor of public schools. The study recommended providing an appropriate atmosphere for teacher students for training through the selection of cooperating schools and good potentials in coordination with Faculty of Physical Education and Directorates of Education.
