Abstract

This paper aimed at revealing the degree of availability of elements of administrative creativity among principals of secondary schools for girls in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of contemporary administrative trends. The study used the descriptive method. To achieve this, the researchers designed a questionnaire consisting of (68) paragraphs, and was applied to a random sample consisted of (320) principals. The results indicated a low degree of availability of elements of administrative creativity among principals of secondary schools for girls in Saudi Arabia, in light of the contemporary administrative trends in the field of sensitivity to problem solving, ability to analyze and link, risk and challenge, originality, and a medium degree in flexibility, fluency and maintaining direction. The results also showed that there were no significant differences in the availability of administrative innovation elements among principals of secondary schools for girls in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of contemporary administrative trends, due to scientific qualifications and experience.
