Abstract

Study aimed at proposing a scenario for the requirements of strategic planning in the general education schools in Taif Governorate, as suggested by the principals of these schools, and to find out if there were significant differences between the average responses of the study sample due to the variables (academic qualification and experience). The descriptive approach was followed by using a questionnaire to collect the data needed for the study, in addition to a personal interview. The questionnaire included (57) paragraphs divided into four main dimensions.

The study population consists of all male principals of public secondary education schools in Taif governorate. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic mean of the degree of support of school principals for the requirements of strategic planning in general education schools in Taif governorate was very high. The study also concluded that there were no significant differences due to the study variables for academic qualification and experience.
