Abstract

The present study aimed at identifying the degree of harmonization of the outputs of the tourist programs in Jordanian universities colleges to the needs of the labor market from the point of view of the graduates and employers. The study sample consisted of college graduates from the University of Jordan, the University of Ammon, in addition to a group of employers, with a total number of (195) individuals (130) graduates, and (65) of the employers. In order to achieve the goals of this study, a questionnaire was constructed consisting of (27) items, divided into five key areas: (the level of graduates, the development of academic programs, curricula and programs of postgraduate training, networking with alumni, universities programs and plans), and to investigate the sincerity and constancy, where it was presented to a group of people with expertise and competence in the instrument cluster, calendar, curriculum and teaching, professors of Jordanian universities. The results showed that the degree of harmonization of the outputs of the tourist programs in Jordanian universities colleges and the requirements of the labor market from the point of view of employers and the tourism colleges graduates in Jordanian universities in general was moderate, as the arithmetic average (3.66) and standard deviation (0.64), and that the areas of resolution came in the high and middle grades.
