Abstract

The aim of this study was to measure the degree of application of the standards of excellence according to Baldrig standards in the institutions of higher education in Kuwait. Where the descriptive descriptive method was used and the sample of the study was chosen by random class method of (320) members of the teaching staff. A questionnaire was used to collect data، consisting of (35) paragraphs divided into seven areas: leadership، information and analysis tools، strategic planning for quality، human resources development and management، quality assurance of products and services، business results، customer satisfaction. The results of the study indicate that the degree of application of the standards of excellence according to the criteria Baldrig in higher education institutions in Kuwait from the point of view of faculty members was high، and the results indicated that there are no differences of statistical significance due to the variable years of experience
