Abstract

Abstract: The study aimed at finding out the evaluation of job performance of academic administrators in Kuwaiti universities based on the service quality standards from their point of view, and the differences that are attributed to the variables of the study. The population of the study is consisted of all academic administrators in Kuwaiti universities. Their number is (210) academic administrators. The size of the study sample was (181) academic administrators. The results of the study showed that the evaluation of job performance of academic administrators in Kuwaiti universities based on the standards of quality of services was high from their point of view. The results also showed that there were significant differences attributed to the sex variable, in favor of fewales, and the variable of experience, in favor of (from 5 – 10 years) category and for the academic rank variable in favor of associate professor. The researchers recommended developing an evaluation model for administrative performance among academic administrators in Kuwaiti universities based on performance quality standerds.

ملخص: هدفت الدّراسة تعرف درجة تقييم الأداء الوظيفي لدى الأكاديميين الإداريين في الجامعات الكويتية المستند إلى معايير جودة الخدمات من وجهة نظرهم, والفروق التي تُعزى لمتغيّرات الجّنس وسنوات الخبرة, والرتبة الأكاديمية. وتكون مجتمع الدّراسة من جميع الأكاديميين الإداريين من مديري الجّامعات الكويتية والبالغ عددهم (210) إداريين أكاديميين, وبلغ حجم العيّنة (181) إدارياً أكاديمياً. وأظهرت نتائج الدّراسة أن تقييم الأداء الوظيفي لدى الأكاديميين الإداريين في الجامعات الكويتية المستند إلى معايير جودة الخدمات من وجهة نظرهم كان بدرجة عالية. كما أظهرت وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيّة تُعزى لمتغيّر الجّنس ولصالح الإناث، فضلاً عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تُعزى لمتغيّر الخبرة ولصالح الخبرة من 5 – 10 سنوات. ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيّة تُعزى لمتغيّر الرتبة الأكاديمية ولصالح أستاذ مشارك. وأوصى الباحثان بتطوير أنموذج تقييمي للأداء الوظيفي لدى الأكاديميين الإداريين في الجامعات الكويتية بناء على معايير جودة الخدمات.
