Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the degree of acceptance of school principals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the system of monitoring their school administrations using camera technology. The sample population represented 25.4% of the total number of the study population (1186), who were chosen randomly. A questionnaire of 55 items with four fields was distributed. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were extracted. Means, standard deviations, One- way ANOVA and multivariate analysis were used to answer the study questions. The results showed that the degree of acceptance of school principals in Saudi Arabia of the system of monitoring their school administrations using camera technology was high. The results also showed no significant differences in the degree of acceptance by school principals to use camera technology in their schools due to gender and experience.

ملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقصي درجة تقبل مديري المدارس في المملكة العربية السعودية لنظام الرقابة على إدارات مدارسهم باستخدام تقنية الكاميرات, تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مديري المدارس ومديراتها في إدارة التعليم لمنطقة الرياض والبالغ عددهم (1186) مديرا ومديرة, وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (301) مديراً ومديرة, تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة, شكلوا ما نسبة (25.4%) من مجتمع الدراسة, واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي, وقد تم استخدام إستبانة مكونة من (55) فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات, وقد تم استخراج دلالات الصدق والثبات لها, وتم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية وتحليل التباين الاحادي والمتعدد للإجابة عن اسئلة الدراسة, وأظهرت النتائج أن درجة تقبل مديري المدارس في المملكة العربية السعودية لنظام الرقابة على إدارات مدارسهم باستخدام تقنية الكاميرات جاءت مرتفعة. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة تقبل مديري المدارس لإستخدام تقنية الكاميرات في مدارسهم تعزى للجنس والخبرة.
