Abstract

Abstract: The present study aimed at revealing the degree of the principals' performance of their roles in achieving the goals of the school and directorate development plan in the northern governorates from teachers' point of view. A random sample was selected from the northern governorates: Irbid, Jerash, Ajloun and Mafraq, which consisted of (591) teachers. To achieve the objective of the study, the analytical descriptive methodology was used to collect the data on the sample of the sample. The questionnaire consisted of (40). The validity of the study tool was confirmed using the validity of the content. The results of the study showed that the degree of practicing principals for their roles in achieving the objectives of the school development plan and the directorate (SDI) in the northern governorates from the point of view of teachers was a medium. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences according to gender, school level and governorate, Statistical significance according to the variable years of experience was found.

ملخص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس لأدوارهم في تحقيق أهداف خطة تطوير المدرسة والمديرية في محافظات الشمال. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (591) معلماً ومعلمة من مدارس محافظات الشمال: إربد, وجرش, وعجلون, والمفرق, تم اختيارهم بطريقة عشوائية. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي من خلال استخدام استبانة تكونت من (40) فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات هي: التعلم والتعليم, والقيادة والإدارة, وبيئة الطلبة, والمدرسة والمجتمع, وقد تم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها. وأظهرت النتائج أن درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس لأدوارهم في تحقيق أهداف خطة تطوير المدرسة والمديرية (SDI) في محافظات الشمال من وجهة نظر المعلمين جاءت بدرجة متوسطة, وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تقديرات افراد عينة الدراسة لدرجة ممارسة مديري المدارس لأدوارهم في تحقيق أهداف خطة تطوير المدرسة والمديرية تُعزى لمتغيرات الجنس, ومستوى المدرسة, والمحافظة, ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تُعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة, وذلك لصالح تقديرات ذوي الخبرة (أكثر من 10 سنوات).
