Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed at exploring the students learning styles included in the first, second and third basic grades in Jordan ELF curriculum. To answer the question of the study, descriptive and analytical statistics were used, The researchers prepared for this purpose a content analyses tool according to (VARK) modal, which consisted of (30) items. The population of the study consisted of the English language text (Pupil’s Book and Activity Book) and Teacher’s Book in Jordan. The sample of the study covered the whole population The findings of the study indicated that the total frequency of the Students’ Cognitive Sensory Learning Styles in ELF curriculum (Pupil’s Book, Activity Book and Teacher’s Book) was (2725) which disseminated in ELF curriculum with different degrees and the highest percentage was for Audio Visual Style. The researchers recommended the necessity of paying attention in Students’ Cognitive Sensory Learning Styles in ELF curriculum in a unified and balanced patterns.

ملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد أنماط تعلم الطلبة المتضمنة في منهاج اللغة الإنجليزية (Action Pack). ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم إعداد قائمة بأنماط تعلم الطلبة الحسية الإدراكية وفق أُنموذج (VARK)، مكونة من (4) أنماط رئيسة و(6) فرعية، و(30) مؤشرا. واستخدمت تلك القائمة في تحليل محتوى عينة الدراسة التي اشتملت على دليل المعلم (Teacher’s Book)، كتاب الطالب (Pupil’s Book) وكتاب التمارين (Activity Book) لمبحث اللغة الإنجليزية، بمعدل دليل وكتابين لكل صف من صفوف المرحلة الأساسية الدنيا الثلاثة. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن محتوى كتب وأدلة منهاج اللغة الإنجليزية للمرحلة الأساسية الدنيا في الأردن قد تضمنت (2725) نمطا من أنماط تعلم الطلبة الحسية الإدراكية، وأن هذه الأنماط قد توزعت بنسب متفاوتة من كتاب لآخر، ومن صف لآخر، وحصل نمط تعلم الطلبة السمعي البصري على نسب مئوية عالية مقارنة مع الأنماط الأخرى. وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تضمين جميع أنماط تعلم الطلبة الحسية الإدراكية في محتوى منهاج اللغة الإنجليزية لصفوف المرحلة الأساسية الدنيا بصورة متوازنة.
