Abstract

ThisstudyaimedtoinvestigatetheroleofschoolsineducationandspreadingawarenessofecologyforschoolstudentsinSalfeetGovernoratefromteachers’viewpoint.Totestthestudyhypothesis,theresearcherusedtheanalyticaldescriptivemethodologyincludingstatisticalpackageforsocialsciences(SPSS),andthestudyrevealed:♦♦ThereisalargeroleofschoolsineducationandspreadingawarenessofecologyforschoolstudentsinSalfeetGovernoratefromteachersviewpointatstatisticallevel(α≤0.05)♦♦ThereisaneffectforsexvariableonteachersrespondingabouttheroleofschoolsineducationandinspreadingawarenessofecologyandSalfeetGovernorateforfemaleteachersatstatisticallevel(α≤0.05).♦♦Thereisnoeffectofvariables(Age,ResidenceLocation,maritalstatus,scientificqualification,andexperience)onteachersrespondingabouttheroleofschoolsineducationandinspreadingtheawarenessofecologyforschoolsstudentsinSalfeetGovernorateatstatisticallevel(α≤0.05).♦♦Thereisnoeffectfortheacademicstage(lowelementary,highelementary,secondary)onteachersrespondingabouttheroleofschoolsineducationinspreadingawarenessofecologyforschoolsstudentsinSalfeetGovernorateatstatisticallevel(α≤0.05).Inthelightofstudyresultstheresearcherrecommends:Urgetoactivatetheroleofschoolsintheecologicalawarenessdissemination.Urgetoincludeecologicaleducationcurriculumfordifferentacademicstagesinordertoclarifytheimportanceofecologytothestudents.Urgeforfurtherstudie
