Development of the competencies of raising infants and toddlers
Abstract
The objective of this research is to develop competencies list of Educating and caring for infants and toddlers (birth to three) .The researcher surveyed the literature and the previous studies to reach a set of competencies. The competencies’ list was presented to a group of specialists in the field, and the researcher modified the sentences to clarify them, in the light of comments of the specialists. The researcher conducted statistical treatment and calculated the arithmetic means and the standard deviation and the relative importance of competencies. All competencies got high importance. The researcher discussed the results, presented recommendations and proposals in the light ults of the study.
