The aim of this study is to evaluate the effective University teachingat Isra University from the students’ point view and its relation with theirgender and study level. The sample of the study consisted of (248) studentsselected on purpose, (96) males and (152) females. The Researcher developeda scale of (25) items, of four points Likert- type. Its validity and reliabilitywere established. Means, Standard deviations, and t-test, were applied inanalyzing the data.Results revealed that the mean of students’ assessment of theeffective university teaching was (73.8) less than the accepteduniversity level (80%). Moreover, no significant differences werefound between the students’ assessment of the effective Universityteaching due to the variables of gender or the level of the students atthe university.The researcher recommends to train the teaching staff in the universitieson various effective teaching strategies.
