Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify Arabic language supervisors›assessment of linguistic performance of Arabic language newly appointedteachers, and the differences due to sex, field of specialization at secondaryschool, the university from where he graduated and the attitudes towards theteaching profession .The researchers used the descriptive analytical method, the ObservationCard and Measurement Attitudes .The study sample consists of (57) male andfemale .The conclusions of the study showed that the level of linguisticperformance for the teachers was (70.3%) and there is differences at thelevel of linguistic performance due to sex, and in favor of females and theuniversity the teacher graduate from .The level of Arabic language teachers attitudes was (75.4%) and showedthat there is no differences due to the sex except in social status, and thatthere is no differences due to specialization .There is relationship betweenlinguistic performance and teachers attitudes towards teaching profession .
