Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the development of scienceprocess skills among Technology Education students in Palestine TechnicalUniversity.The study also aims to investigate the effects of gender andresidence of these students on their skills.Data were collected from (81) maleand female students from the department of Technology Education.In orderto assess the science process skills, the science process skills test was used inthis study; this test has nine skills which contains (18) multiple choice items.The validity and reliability of the test were confirmed.The study revealedthat the mean of the items in science process skills was (46%) , and skillswere developed between first year and forth year with rate (11.39%) .It alsoindicated that there are statistically significant differences due to gender tothe benefit of females.Finally, the study revealed that there are no statisticallysignificant differences due to residence.
