Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the degree ofthe Primary Schools' Supervisors Practice to theEducational Supervision' approaches in the light ofcontemporary trends and ways of developing them,in order to fulfill this aim, the researchers adoptedthe analytical descriptive method for suitabilityto the theme of the study, and the researchersdesigned the questionnaire as a tool for informationcollecting. It consisted of (27) items distributedon four spheres, namely: diversified supervision,contemplative supervision, Electronic supervisionand participated supervision. The questionnaireapplied at the study sample which consists of (131)teachers male and female by (5.2 %) of the membersof the study population's which is (2496) teachers.Teachers have been selected at random stratified.The study reached the following findings:♦♦ Total score for the degree of the InitialPrimary Schools' Supervisors Practice to theEducational Supervision' approaches in thelight of contemporary trends from the point ofview of teachers was significantly high and withrelative degree (71.76 %) .♦♦ The diversified supervision got the first rank withrelative degree (76.33 %) which is significantlyhigh degree.♦♦ The Electronic supervision got last rank withrelative degree (68.5 %) which is relativelylarge degree.♦♦ there were no statistically significant differencesamong the mean estimates of the sample to thedegree of Initial Primary Schools' SupervisorsPractice to the educational supervisionsapproaches in the light of contemporary trendsdue to the variables of the study (sex, academicqualifications and school' region) .The study reached the followingrecommendations:♦♦ The educational supervisor should explain theeducational supervision' approach which isused for the teacher so that he can differentiatebetween the various approaches.♦♦ Strengthen the technological skills of both thesupervisors and teachers so that they can dealwith electronic supervision.♦♦ It is necessary to activate to exchange field visitsbetween teachers whether inside or outside theschool.
