The objective of this research was to develop educational requirements to achieve Intellectual equilibrium for Saudi university students from an Islamic perspective, which is the mental and doctrinal requirements. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the analytical deductive method. The most results are that characteristics of balanced thinking is being an objective, proof, intermediate, methodical bring Qur’an and Sunna forward the mind, believes in the relativity of mental abilities, combines originality and contemporary, moderate and level on the straight path. The factors influencing the Intellectual equilibrium of Saudi university students are subjective factors related to the characteristics and demands of mental development, and external factors related to the intellectual environment. The methodology of right thinking in the Islamic curriculum has adopted mental requirements to achieve Intellectual equilibrium. First was to provide the university student with the correct methodology to understand Islamic texts, and to purify his mind from the Intellectual equilibrium barriers as the blind imitation, the doubt and questioning the religious constants, arousing desires, and following the steps of Devil. One of the imbalances between the sources of scientific recovery, which negatively affect the Intellectual equilibrium, is the reliance on Holy Quran and ignorance of Prophet's Sunnah, and bring the mind and senses forward to revelation. Intellectual equilibrium requires building mind perceptions according to the certainty science that based on evidence and methodology of scientific criticism that ensures the balance between originality and contemporary. Protecting the student's faith from contact with people of suspicion and nodal deviations is a doctrinal requirement to achieve Intellectual equilibrium. There is also a direct relationship between the power of the doctrine of submission to God's legal and universal destiny and the achievement of Intellectual equilibrium, and the balanced doctrine of the university student between fear and hope, and the faith in good and evil destiny is a fundamental requirement for Intellectual equilibrium. Then the researcher recommends that to achieve Intellectual equilibrium, universities should include the mental and doctrinal requirements in a scientific course offered to the university student in various disciplines as a basic general requirement. Also, to hold workshops and training programs that provide the university student with the Islamic methodology in dealing with Islamic texts, the methodology of scientific and evident thinking, the methodology of normative criticism, and the correct methodology in dealing with the others’ thoughts.
