Abstract

This study examined the reality of activating the work-teams in schools from the viewpoint of school leaders in Al-Dayer Education Office. The aim of the study is to identify any significant differences among the individual responses due to the gender and/or the experience of the participants. In order to achieve the aim of the study, the researcher used a 33-item questionnaire with a five point Likert Scale to collect data from 68 participants of male and female leaders. Then, the researcher utilized the descriptive approach to analyze the data of this research study.

The findings revealed high level of work team activation in four aspects namely: a) work team building; b) periodic meetings; c) activation of meeting recommendations; and d) difficulties related to work team activation. Further, the results showed no significant differences related to work team activation in schools due to the gender and/or the experience of the participants.
