Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the level of time management skills among secondary school students in the city of Makkah, and whether there are differences between them due to the difference in class, specialization or educational system (semester System, courses system). The study adopted the descriptive approach. The tool was a questionnaire consisting of three main axes (skills related to time management tools and methods, time management planning skills, time management skills). The study was applied to a sample of (239) students at the public secondary schools in the city of Makkah. The results of the study showed that the level of time management at large as well as the three axes was medium among students, and the three axes emerged in the following order: time management skills, time management planning skills, skills related to time management tools and methods. The study revealed that there were differences due to the difference in the educational system in favor of the students of the courses system, while there were no differences due to the difference in the specialization.
