Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of administrative empowerment practice for female educational supervisors in Educational Supervision Department in Riyadh. It also aimed to identify the statistically significant differences in the degree of administrative empowerment practice for female educational supervisors, according to the following variables (experience - training courses - educational qualification). The researcher adopted the descriptive survey method. The study sample included the educational supervisors of Educational Supervision Department: thirty seven female supervisors, representing the study population. The study tool was the questionnaire. The study results: The approval of the study members, at a medium degree, of the degree of administrative empowerment practice for female educational supervisors in the Educational Supervision Administration in terms of delegation of authority; and the approval of the study members, in a high degree, for the paragraphs that measure the degree of administrative empowerment practice for educational supervisors in the Educational Supervision Administration in terms of teamwork and creative behavior. There are no statistically significant differences between the attitudes of study members about the degree the administrative empowerment practice of female educational supervisors in Educational Supervision, according to variables of experience and training courses. While there are statistically significant differences between the attitudes of the study members on the degree of administrative empowerment practice for female educational supervisors in educational supervision according to the variable of the educational qualification.
