Abstract

The current research aims to identify the factors of the family environment as predictors of innovative behaviors to Confrontation the social isolation resulting from the home quarantine during the outbreak of Covid-19. During the study, the sample consisted of two hundred respondents (male/female) where they were from the Taif city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Two separate measures were built, in which one was to measure the family environment factors and the other was to measure the innovative behaviors of respondents. The research results showed an increase in the level of the research sample on the variable of the family environment factors in various fields such as independence, familiarity and expressions of feelings, as well as their high level on the variable of innovative behaviors to Confrontation social isolation during COVID-19's home quarantine. Furthermore, it was found a positive correlation statistically significant between the family environment factors in its various fields and among the innovative behaviors of the respondents during COVID-19's home quarantine. Also, the two fields that were the commitment to the systems as well as the (Commitment to family regulations and religious values, Familiarization and expression of positive and negative feelings) are the most contributing areas to the innovative behaviors among the respondents during COVID-19's home quarantine. Finally, there were no differences due to the age and gender variables on the attributes of family environment factors or innovative behaviors.
