The current study aimed to identify the obstacles to teaching art education from the point of view of its teachers in the Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait. The study used the descriptive survey approach, and to collect data, a questionnaire of art education obstacles was developed from the point of view of its teachers in the Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait, in the form of a scale. From (18) paragraphs, and their validity and consistency was ascertained, they were applied to a sample consisting of (170) teachers from art education teachers in the Ministry of Kuwait, and the results of the study showed that the responses of the study sample were in agreement with a high degree, impediments to teaching art education from the viewpoint of Its teachers are at the Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait, The study reached several recommendations, the most important of which is the development of the drawing and painting curriculum in Art Education by taking advantage of the Art Thinking Program in developing the habits of the artist's mind to enrich the creative expression of students within the framework of artistic trends, and holding workshops to train teachers in general and art education teachers in particular on the use of approaches The patterns and strategies of the Art Thinking Program in the classroom to develop higher levels of thinking by preparing visual thinking.
