Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the degree of readiness for digital learning in Jordan during the Corona pandemic from the point of view of school teachers in northern Jordan, to identify the suitability of digital learning curricula in Jordan, and the extent of the availability of digital infrastructure in Jordan, and to identify the impact of students and teachers' abilities and skills on dealing with technology Necessary to prepare for digital learning in Jordan, and to recognize the significance of the differences in the perceptions of school teachers in northern Jordan to the degree of readiness for digital learning in Jordan during the Corona pandemic due to variables (gender, academic qualification, experience), the researcher used in this study the descriptive and analytical approach, and the study community was formed from A group of male and female teachers in public schools and affiliated to the Education Directorates in the Irbid District, and the sample of the study consisted of (233) individuals, and the number of the sample members was (130) males, and the number of females was (144) who were chosen in a simple random method. The findings of the study showed that the arithmetic averages of the fields of study related to the readiness for digital learning in Jordan ranged from (3.26-4.37) with a degree of agreement. Intermediate, the highest was for the field "Adequacy of Curricula for Digital Learning", followed by the field "Adequacy of Infrastructure in Jordan", while the lowest for the dimension was "Abilities and Skills of Students in Dealing with Digital Technology", and the arithmetic average of the fields as a whole was (3.64) with a moderate approval rating In light of the results, the researcher recommends the necessity of holding workshops and training courses for teachers and students to help them use the computer and the Internet efficiently and effectively to deal with digital learning requirements and strategies.
