Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the role of sport in achieving community peace from the perspective of physical fitness center subscribers in Jerash Governorate, based on the variables of gender, age, educational level, and monthly income. The study sample consisted of 467 male and female subscribers. To achieve the aims of the study, the researchers used a questionnaire. The results showed that the role of sport in achieving community peace was perceived as high, with the dimension of social justice ranking first, followed by the dimension of plurality, and then the dimension of collective work. The dimension of freedom of expression was ranked fourth, the dimension of good governance was fifth, and finally, the dimension of respect for the law was last. Moreover, the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences regarding the role of sport in community peace based on the variables of gender, age, and educational level.
