Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between cognitive resilience, self-confidence, and psychological well-being among a sample of Tafila Technical University students, as well as to identify differences in cognitive resilience, self-confidence, and psychological well-being based on gender and faculty. To achieve the study's objectives, the researchers developed the study instruments and ensured their validity and reliability; a descriptive correlational design was employed. The study sample consisted of 405 students from the academic year 2019-2020, selected randomly. The study indicated that university students exhibited high levels of cognitive resilience, self-confidence, and psychological well-being, with no significant differences based on gender or faculty. The results also showed a positive correlation among cognitive resilience, self-confidence, and psychological well-being, as well as the contribution of cognitive resilience and self-confidence in predicting psychological well-being. In light of these results, some recommendations were made.
