Abstract
This study aims to identify the impact of the level of political stability on sustainable development in the countries affected by the Arab Spring revolutions during the period from 2006 to 2018. The study assumes that there is a positive relationship between political stability as an independent variable and sustainable development as a dependent variable. The study employs a systems analysis approach, as well as descriptive, analytical, and statistical methods. The findings support the hypothesis that there is a statistically significant correlation between the level of political stability and indicators of sustainable development in the countries affected by the Arab Spring revolutions. The study recommends the necessity of working towards political and economic reform in the Arab countries to facilitate a successful democratic transformation that helps achieve political stability and sustainable development goals.
