Abstract
The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing accompanying activities among students at northern Jordanian universities and its relationship to achieving social change from the students' perspective. A descriptive survey method was used, with a questionnaire as the data collection tool. A random stratified sampling method was employed. The results showed that the degree of students’ practice of accompanying activities in northern Jordanian universities, from the students’ viewpoint, was moderate. Additionally, the results revealed that the level of achieving social change among students of northern Jordanian universities was rated as high. There was a statistically significant positive correlation at the significance level (α = 0.05) between the degree of students’ practice of accompanying activities and their level of social change achievement. The researchers recommend that universities in northern Jordan promote students' participation in accompanying activities across all cultural, social, and scientific fields.
