Abstract
This study addresses Islam strong consideration to establishing social security among society members by laying the foundations for social security maintenance among neighbors. It was found that Islam، and in both its main sources represented by the Holy Quran and Sunnah have contained messages able to achieve and maintain social security including faith potential، social potential and economic potential. As the main objective is to achieve security for all society members (Muslims and non- Muslims)، the address in this respect was general to include all groups.
