Abstract
This research aimed at investigating the effect of the University Achievement Test on the applied curriculum at Jerash Private University. To achieve this, a questionnaire made of (41) items distributed over (4) aspects, which represents the curriculum elements: objectives, content, teaching activities, and assessment. The sample of the research consists of (89) instructors who teach in the summer course on different parts of the university where the students applied for the university achievement test in the year 2006 -2007. The results of the research showed that there is an effect of this test on each of the curriculum elements. The most affected aspect was assessment with an average (3.54) out of (5), followed by objectives with (3.43), then content with (3.22) and finally teaching activities with an average (3.08). In the light of the results, number of recommendations have to be taken into consideration by the Ministry of High Education and the instructors of the University
