Abstract
This study aims to identify the educational role of the Islamic mass media to face the flow danger of International mass Media in the light global openness, and ways to activate them, and the importance of this study is to identify the most important roles played by the the Arabic Islamic massmedia, and figuring out hidden dangers that may be found between the folds bright manifestations of the Western massmedia. Especially those threats to our originality. They researchers prepare tool (for measuring the educational role of the massmedia Islamic), (32) items were drafted distributed on the following three roles. the structural role and protective role, and the of therapeutic, was applied questionnaire after confirmation of validity and reliability on a sample of (250)of university professors in Iraq, were randomly selected from a number of Iraqi universities (university of Tikrit, Diyala university, of Kirkuk, university of Baghdad, university of Anbar, and university of Mosul), And after data collection and analysis we have reached findings that Islamic massmedia, in turn, educational moderately from the point of view of the respondents to face the danger flow International massmedia, and the results indicate also that the main reason for this level was mainly due to the low level of commitment and awareness of religious in Arab societies in general in addition to the weakness of development processions of contemporary cultural progress by religious institutions and actors in this regard, while massmedia in the world matching strongly depends on the style rush anaxiety and wide diversity
