Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the degree of the contribution from the College of Applied Studies and community services in the eastern region (Saudi Arabia) in the development of community responsibility to its students from the point of view of the students themselves. For the purposes of the study, the researcher prepared a verified questionnaire | consisting of 40 items, its constant reached (0.84) using Cronbach Alpha equation (a way of testing and re-testing) by using Pearson correlation coefficient which reached (0.91) , The study sample has been chosen randomly with (450) student, researcher used the analytical descriptive approach -in analyzing of collected data, the study concluded the following: The degree of the contribution of faculty in developing social responsibility, among her students, were moderately, and it also showed a statistically significant differences (a = 0.05( due to the impact of the academic level, and in favor of more than a second year, and also showed no statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) attributed to the impact of specialization. In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommends the following: the inclusion of the concepts and principles of social responsibility in university courses
