Abstract
The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of school counseling in Jarash governorate schools in relation to the study dimensions (Developmental counseling, preventive counseling, and therapeutic counseling). The study also aimed to show the differences among the responses of individuals attributed to the study variables. The researcher used the questionnaire which was distributed to a sample of 67 managers and counselors. And reached a set of results: The arithmetical means of the sample members’ responses regarding the effectiveness of school counseling in Jarash governorate schools were in a high level in relation to the study dimensions (Developmental counseling, preventive counseling, and therapeutic counseling). The results of the study showed that, There were no significant statistical among the sample members’ responses regarding the effectiveness of school counseling in Jarash governorate schools attributed to the following variables (gender, educational qualification & years of experience). In addition, There were significant statistical among the sample members’ responses regarding the effectiveness of school counseling in Jarash governorate schools attributed to the variable of job title
