Abstract
This research focuses on pursuing Ali Bin Al-Khalil, a poet who had a great impact in the second century AH. He was extremely selected due to what was said about his heresy. The researcher here endeavors to collect his lost poetry library in addition to what has been lost of our Arab heritage, and study some of what came to refute that statement or prove it. For this purpose, the researcher seeks to archive his poetry scattered in the mothers of books, selecting one hundred and six verses that will be chronologised according to the methodology shown in the folds of this research. The research concludes that Ali Ibn Al-Khalil was a profligate poet who was addicted to Alcoholic in his youth. He has declared repentance stemming from his fear of punishment afterwards. However, he then returned to his buffoonery and dissolution
