Abstract

The study aims at identifying The Effectiveness of voluntary work projects' based program in providing students at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University with communication skills., in light some variables., Two questionnaires are used in this study, the first was for faculty members on: listening, speaking, non-verbal communication, dealing with others, leadership skills, and technical skills in preparing presentations ,The other questionnaire was for students on the same six skills that were in the faculty questionnaire in addition to seventh paragraph was added on self-management skill. for. Regarding faculty members, 10 faculty members 569 students responded to the pre-test, while 384 faculty members responded to the post-test, all were selected in a cluster randomized manner from preparatory year college at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University: for the academic year 2017/2018. The results showed that the effectiveness of the program in providing students of the preparatory year the communication skills of various skills from the perspective of students and faculty. The study also showed that there was no statistically significant gender difference in the effectiveness of the program for students and there were gender differences for faculty members. No differences to academic level (bachelor's degree vs. high school diploma)
