Abstract

This study aimed to know the level of efficiency of government health services in Greater Irbid from the point of view of their auditors, and their differences according to the different areas of efficiency of their services (public, workers, health), as well as their differences according to their nature (primary center, comprehensive center, hospital). The effect of some variables [the nature of the health institution, the frequency of the visit; vehicle arrival time; arrival time by public transport; distance from the place of residence; The time of receiving treatment]" in the different level of efficiency of government health services services in Greater Irbid. To achieve these goals, the researcher used statistical analysis methods represented by calculating the arithmetic mean and standard deviations of the efficiency of health services and the areas of efficiency of their services (public, workers, health) and according to their nature (primary center, comprehensive center, hospital) from the point of view of the auditors, and the researcher also used the method of analysis Hexagonal variance to calculate the arithmetic mean of the efficiency of health services from the point of view of its auditors, according to each of [the nature of the health institution; repeat visit; vehicle arrival time; arrival time by public transport; distance from the place of residence; time of receiving treatment].

The results of the statistical analysis of the level of efficiency of health services from the point of view of the auditors showed that the level of efficiency of health services in general in the Greater Irbid Municipality from the point of view of its auditors according to the five-point Likert scale came within an average evaluation (3.50), while the evaluation of the efficiency of health services was according to their nature (Primary center, comprehensive center, hospital) within an average evaluation, (3.54) for the primary center, (3.51) for the comprehensive center, (3.43) for the hospital. As for the level of efficiency of health services according to their fields (general, workers, health) it was within a high evaluation (3.71) for the services of workers in health institutions, and within an average evaluation of public services (3.38), and within an average evaluation of health services also (3.36).
