Abstract

This study is concerned with a comparison between the two books “Al-Itqan fi Al-Uloom Al-Qur’an” by Al-Suyuti (911 AH) and “Al-Irfan in the Sciences of the Qur’an” by Al-Zarqani (1367 AH), by studying aspects of agreement and difference between them. Highlighting the features of innovation and tradition in them, and showing the scientific value of each of the mastery in the sciences of the Qur’an and the ways of gratitude and their impact on those who were classified after them in the sciences of the Qur’an, and the study follows the method: comparative, inductive and descriptive approach
