Abstract
This study seeks to know the nature of the intertextuality contained in the literature of Ibn Abi Al-Shakhba and the relationship that links literary texts to each other, as this study is an attempt to find out the aspects of intertextuality in Ibn Abi Al-Shakhba’s literature, where the study is based on the aesthetic analytical approach, which is concerned with the aesthetics of texts and their interactions with other texts and this study confirmed that the intertextuality is fruitful among the aesthetics of literary colors. Also, it indicates to the writer's knowledge, extent of his knowledge, and the diversity of his culture. This study also sought to know the types and aspects in which the intertextuality occurred, as it was found that the intertextuality in the literature of Ibn Abi al-Shakhba appeared in the religious aspect, the linguistic aspect, and the historical and heritage aspect. The results of the paper came to confirm that the semantics were revealed by the textual overlap criterion, which allowed us to infer some components of Ibn Abi Al-Shakhba’s personality through his literary experience
