Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of intellectual capital development in enhancing strategic vigilance in Jordanian pharmaceutical companies, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of (33) paragraphs, where the study population consisted of (146) workers in supervisory and leadership positions within the names Functional (general manager, director, deputy director, head of department, deputy head of department), a questionnaire was distributed to the targeted study individuals, and the number of questionnaires recovered and valid for analysis was (142) questionnaires, and after analyzing the data using appropriate statistical methods The results showed that the level of intellectual capital development in Jordanian pharmaceutical companies came with a high evaluation, and the level of strategic vigilance came with a high evaluation, and the presence of a statistically significant role at the level of significance (α≤0.05) for the dimensions of intellectual capital development, in addition to a significant role for strategic vigilance.
