Abstract

This study addresses the urgency of dialogue between the other civilizations. It points out the importance of dialogue in overcoming the current political and military crises. Such a discourse would provide cultures with new mutual perspectives that would replace conflicts in international relationships. This would also facilitate for the nations of the world finding new ways of communication that would enforce cultural coexistence.

The study takes multiculturalism for granted. While each individual culture has its own historical, religious, cultural and philosophical backgrounds that gives it its own character within all other peers, cultures should work globally together, in order to outline mutual cooperative frameworks that are inspired from general humanistic principles.

This paper postulates that mutual cultural tolerance would allow cultures to play a vital role in forming new international relationships. Regarding cultures as equals would enforce the contribution of each and every one of them towards achieving their aspiration of a better future for humanity. This would pave the way for building new international relationships that would guarantee the long-desired mutual interests of all sides, in peace and away from the policies of double-standard
