Abstract

This study aimed to identify The Effect of Using Roundhouse Diagram Strategy in Teaching the English language for Tenth Grade Female Students' and their Attitudes Toward it in Jordan. The participants Students were (40) from tenth grade. Female Students' from Umm Al-ma'am Secondary School, and they were distributed in to tow division.

The study was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2018/2019, with (4) classes per week for each division. The study continued for (4) weeks, The semi-experimental method was used. The sample of the study was divided into two groups, one experimental and the other controlling (20) Female students per group.

To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher prepared the educational material that based on the strategy of the circular house plan, the achievement test, and the measurement trends towards English language, As the tools were verified Stability, The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance of (α =0.05) between the experimental and controlling groups degrees of Students' attitudes due to the effect of the traditional teaching method, The differences were in favor of the method of teaching the Roundhouse Diagram Strategy.

The results also showed statistically significant differences of (α =0.05) for this result, the study recommended to adopt the Roundhouse Diagram Strategy in teaching English language for its effect on increasing the academic achievement of students in the English language
